Browsing and the ceiling checker
You can read this site without opening an account or submitting contact details. There is no online booking, payment, contact form or newsletter signup. The checker keeps answers only in the current page’s memory; it does not send them to ADI or save them in browser storage. Refreshing or leaving resets the answers.
The checker provides general guidance. It does not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
Cloudflare hosting and technical information
Cloudflare provides the hosting and delivery service for wetceiling.co.uk. Requests can include your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser information and security-related information. These are used to deliver pages, diagnose faults and protect against abuse. The relevant interest is operating a reliable and secure website.
Cloudflare operates an international network, so processing may take place outside the UK. Its data-processing terms include transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum where applicable. Contact us for information about the arrangements applying to your data.
When you call or email ADI
ADI may collect your name, contact details, property address and information about the suspected leak to answer an enquiry, prepare a quotation or arrange work. Booking, payment and reporting records are handled through ADI’s service systems, not a payment form on this site. ADI’s published privacy information states that calls are recorded for quality and training.
Enquiry and booking information is used to take steps you request before a contract and to provide the agreed service. Relevant records may also be needed for legal obligations or legitimate interests in dealing with complaints, protecting legal rights and improving service quality. Contact ADI if you need details about a call recording before giving information.
You do not have to make an enquiry. If necessary contact or property details are not supplied, ADI may be unable to quote or arrange a visit.
How long information is kept
Checker answers are not retained after the page session. Enquiry and service records are kept according to their purpose, including responding to the enquiry, providing reports, referring to previous work and meeting legal or dispute-related requirements. ADI’s published policy states that job names, addresses and reports may be kept for several years for reference to previous work.
Technical-log and call-recording retention depends on the service and configuration used. Ask ADI for the retention period applying to a particular record; we do not claim a fixed period for every category.
Published customer reviews
We display selected short excerpts from public ADI reviews on Trustpilot, with the public reviewer name, rating, date and original link. This helps visitors understand reported customer experiences. Contact us if an excerpt or attribution needs correction or if you wish to raise an objection to its use.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need information to confirm your identity before responding.
You have a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Explain your circumstances using the privacy contact above so we can assess your request. Rights can be subject to lawful exceptions.
You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not have to complain to ADI first.
